Business Advocates for Veterans is an all volunteer organization that has formed a network of business people with a collective mission to promote the hiring of veterans, assist veterans in finding  employment and assist our local businesses source veteran employees.  We hold an annual veterans luncheon where we recognize a Carroll County Veteran of the Year and a Veteran Friendly Employer of the Year to bring attention to the fine men and women from Carroll County who have served and the business reaching out to help promote the hiring of veterans.   Discussions began in late 2014 about the concept of doing something to assist veterans to find employment and promote the hiring of veterans in late 2014.  In 2015 we began to organize and incorporated as a Maryland nonprofit corporation in 2016.  We work in close partnership with Carroll County government, the Carroll County Veterans Servie Council and other veteran organization to leverage our ability to assist veterans.
